It was darts night on Tuesday with Phyll doing the scoring and Ted checking the scores. Lilian’s team won the weekly match playing against Ted’s team the score was 2-1. This week Lill was top scorer with 88.

Wednesday at Glaves Close was bingo afternoon when Sheila sold the raffle tickets, Phyll sold the bingo books. Ted as usual called the numbers. Phyll was celebrating her birthday and brought cream cakes to share, and served in the interval with the tea. Ted and Sheila drew the raffle each winner choosing their own prize.

Darrell (warden) provided and cooked Thursday morning bacon, sausages and mushrooms for the coffee morning, it was served by Pat and Phyll. Everyone had a natter while enjoying their food. There was a good attendance afterwards for a meeting to discuss future entertainment such as Halloween night, Christmas lunch, pantomime, and outings for residents. Sheila gave a report on the club finances.
