Sax player Jim Corry drops by club at Cask
Jim is also in demand for recording sessions and as a teacher, which makes it even more surprising that he can find the time for solo jazz gigs - in other words, catch him while you can.
Regulars at Scarborough Jazz will have seen Jim perform with Tribute to Atlantic Jazz and The Heavy Horns, but it is always a treat when he appears as a soloist with the Mike Gordon Trio and, through some wonderfully
interpreted standards, can show why he is regarded as one of the finest jazzers around.
