Pearson hits form in Adelaide
After a qualifying race at Stockton-on-Tees back in April, Simon Pearson became the third club member this year to represent Great Britain at triathlon.
Perason joined a team of British age group athletes at the ITU World Duathlon Championships which was held in Adelaide, Australia.
In the sprint duathlon, which consisted of a five kilometre run, 20 kilometre cycle and a final 2.5 kilometre run, Pearson finished 20th overall and the eighth Brit in the over-45 division.
Pearson was 161st of 537 overall with a combined time of 66 minutes 47 seconds.
