Hunmanby farmer selects show winners

Thomas Hunter, who runs the Skelton Whin flock in Hunmanby, was the show judge at Skipton Auction Mart’s 11th annual show and sale of pedigree breeding females. Strong demand and robust commercial trade were the order of the day during the show, which was staged under the auspices of the British Charollais Sheep Society. Father and son Charles and Stephen Marwood owned the day’s champion. The reserve champion was the first prize ewe lamb from Northants breeders Geoff and Carol Watson.
