Domino drive

There were 10 tables in play at the domino drive held in the village hall on Thursday evening with David Mudd as MC.

Prize winners were Elaine Mudd, B Simpson, J Ward, C Cockerill, P Robson, M King, R King, M Truran, Dorothy Pennock, E Perrin, R Wildsmith, A Monks, D Wardle, A Fletcher and E Vasey.

The raffle, run by Elaine Mudd, was won by M Leckenby (two), M Stevenson, S Warriner (two), J Gospel, M Truran (two), E Perrin, A Monks, D Mudd, S Hildreth, K Vasey, M King, C Fletcher and C Cockerill.

Supper was served by Susan Cook and Vinnie Alison, with helpers at half time. David Mudd thanked all who helped in any way.

The next domino drive will be on November 26. schools worker with Faith in Scarboroug­h Schools.

On Thursday November 12 the newly-appointed Bishop of Hull, the Right Rev Alison White will be meeting parishione­rs from the North Scarboroug­h Group Ministry at St Mark’s Church Hall from 3.30pm.

Later there will be a service at St Martin’s Church (time to be confirmed) followed by a question time with the bishop. Questions are to be submitted in advance by email to Davidpynn1­2@aol.com. All welcome.
