Women’s fellowship

The Cayton Women’s Fellowship held their recent meeting in Cayton Chapel when they were welcomed by their president, Gwyneth Russell.

The speaker was Mrs Ruth Robson who gave an interesting, informative and at times moving account of the work and history of the Save the Children Charity. Mrs Russell gave the vote of thanks.

The hymns were sung unaccompanied and following the meeting the refreshments were served by Joan Dunnell and Jane Williams.

The next Fellowship meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2.15pm in Cayton Chapel when the speaker will be Mrs Jean Hanson who will talk about and demonstrate the art of making jewellery.

All are very welcome to go along to any of the meetings which take place on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
