Professor’s talk
The Friends of Scarborough Art Gallery present a talk by William Stenhouse, assistant professor of history at Yeshiva University, New York, who studies the history of classical scholarship.
Professor Stenhouse’s presentation entitled, ‘Why have a Town Museum? A View from the Renaissance’, consid- ers the origins of town museums. The talk takes place on Friday November 13 at 2.30pm in the conference room at Woodend Gallery. Admission is £3, all welcome.
