Rhodes and Horner set for action
Two products of Westway ABC are currently putting in the hard yards in their respective training camps before they return to action on November 20.
Scarborough’s George Rhodes Jnr and Bridlington’s George Horner both climb into the ring at Barnsley Metrodome next month, with Horner set to make his pro debut at the second time of asking.
Rhodes, who is making his third pro appearance, said :“Training is going well and I can’t wait to get in there again, especially after the cancelled show in Hull.
“I’ve had great support so far and I’m hoping that will continue again.”
All-action light- welterweight Horner said :“I can’t wait to finally get in the ring as a professional for the first time, it’s been a long time coming and I’m itching to get going now.”
