19: Christmas Fair – Feeling Festive? Make sure you come along to our Christmas Fair. Independent stalls, hospice baking and more. Time: 10am-lpm. Entry Fee: £2 adults, £1 children. Throxenby Lane, Scarborough, YO12 5RE. 19: Autumn Fair – Kirbymoorside Support Group. Time: 9am-noon. Full details to follow. 25: Quiz Night – Malton Support Group. Venue TBC. Time 6.30.pm10.30pm. Christmas with the Rat Pack. The Spa Complex, Scarborough Tickets £40 including a meal and entertainment by these fabulous local people. 11: Santa Dash. Join us for our annual Santa Dash, this year 5k/10k fun walkrun will be taking place along Scarborough’s South Bay. More information coming soon. 27: Soul Night. Roscoe Rooms, Roscoe Street, Scarborough YO12 7BY. Time: 2.30pm until midnight. Entry: donations welcome. LIGHT UP A LIFE SERVICES DECEMBER 5 – 11 From December 1 until January 6 at our Scarborough Hospice and Whitby Day Hospice, Light up a Life Trees will be lit with beautiful sparkling lights. Each light will signify the life of someone special. There will be Light up a Life services across our region. Each service will be led by Christine Herbert, Saint Catherine’s Hospice spiritual Co-ordinator, a tree of lights will be lit and everyone will receive a candle to have your own person Light up a Life to take away with you. Refreshments are provided after each service. Monday December 5 – 6pm Filey Methodist Church, Filey, YO14 9AE Tuesday December 6 – 6pm St Peter’s Church, Norton, YO17 9AE Wednesday December 7 – 6pm St Hilda’s RC Church, Whitby, YO21 1QT Thursday December 8 – 6pm Queen Street Methodist Church, Scarborough, YO11 1HQ Sunday December 11 – 3pm Priory Church, Church Green, Bridlington, YO16 7JX.
