Wednesday’s bingo was down in numbers due to illness, those attending had a nice afternoon with a chat in the interval when tea and biscuits were served. Lilian and Ted then drew the raffle.

Thursday was Christmas party night at Glaves Close when residents provided party food with savouries, sweets, Christmas cake and wines. A lovely buffet with salmon was prepared by Sheila, Lilian and Phyll. The tables looked lovely with Christmas crackers, cloths and serviettes. A Christmas draw in aid of Macmillan funds, with Lilian drawing the tickets, raised £122. Prizes were donated by various people, this was organised by Jenny who was unable to attend owing to illness. Then Lilian also drew the tickets for Santa’s bag of presents. There was a prize for each member. Everyone was in a party mood and had a lovely time. Thank you to everyone who helped.
