Over 60s club

A military whist drive held in cayton Village Hall on wednesday December 14 and raised £35 for Cayton Over 60s Club funds. The MC was Bill Calvert and five tables were in play.

Whist winners: 1 R Souter, P Richardson, Bill Calvert, Mrs B Richardson; 2 Mrs D Cook, L Woodhead, B Cowton, P Pither; 3 Mrs P Johnson, Mrs S Wardle, Mrs V Poole, Mrs A Dowson; 4 Mrs W Walton, R Warman, J Calam, F Pinder.

Raffle was organised by Trevor Davies, winners included Mrs D Cook, Mrs V Poole, P Richardson, B Cowton, T Davies, R Souter, P Pither, Mrs P Johnson, Mrs S Wardle, Mrs E Brownridge, B Calvert, F Pinder, L Woodhead, Mrs A Dowson.

The vote of thanks was given by Mrs Ann Dowson to all who gave their support in anyway.
