POPPINS – THE PANTOMIME, YMCA THEATRE, SCARBOROUGH February 24 and 25
A popular show is given a pantomime twist at the YMCA Theatre in St Thomas Street, Scarborough, this week.
Members of the YMCA Musical Theatre School present Poppins – the Pantomime – a unique spin on Mary Poppins .
The show has a cast of more than 50, aged from two to adult, supported by many others backstage, front-of-house, in wardrobe and on sound and lighting.
The group has worked hard to build on its previous successful productions and create another show that will entertain audiences of all ages.
From Mary and Bert to some less traditional characters who may cause a little chaos along the way, enjoy a trip across the rooftops as you keep up with proceedings.
Poppins – the Pantomime is a show for the whole family to enjoy and can be seen at the YMCA Theatre on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm.
Doors open one hour beforehand for pre-show drinks.

YMCA Productions presents Footloose later thois year.
Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago, moves with his mother to the small town of Bomont after his father leaves them.
Numbers include Holding Out for a Hero, Let’s Hear it for the Boy and Footloose.
It runs from Tuesday April 18 to Saturday April 22.
