March movie line-up features the very best on the silver screen
A March movie line-up been announced for Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre.
Based on a true story, Denial depicts the legal battle royal between American Holocaust expert Deborah Lipstadt and British historian and Holocaust denier David Irving.
Jackie sees Natalie Portman give an extraordinary portrayal of Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of the assassination of her husband, John F Kennedy.
Dev Patel, Rooney Mara and Nicole Kidman star in Lion, the story of a fiveyear-old Indian boy who gets lost on the streets of Calcutta and survives alone before being adopted by an Australian couple.
Based on another true story, Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge stars Andrew Garfield as conscientious objector Desmond Doss who saved 75 men in Okinawa, during the bloodiest battle of World War two without firing a single shot.
Based on the book In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue, Moonlight follows a young black man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami. Films dates and times are:
