Paragon seal top spot at Snainton race

Yorkshire Coast Clarion hosted Paragons Ken/Len 10 mile event at Snainton.

It was good to see a field of over 20 riders taking part, proving that the joint running of the events with other local cycling clubs encourages people to come and have a go.

This was another interclub event and with a first, second, and fourth place overall from Paragon’s Steve Dodds, Simon Ward and Harry Butterwort­h, Paragon secured first team again.

Friday’s five-mile Come and Try It event had to be cancelled due to wet and slippy roads.

The rain did stop, but due to poor light and the roads being greasy, it was decided not to go ahead with the race.
