Scarboroug­h Community Choir is performing as part of the lantern display at the Moonlight Concert in Peasholm Park on Sunday December 3 at 6pm. Walking In The Air from The Snowman is in the repertoire.

1Peasholm Moonlight and Song Park, Scarboroug­h, Friday December 1 from 5.30pm Scarboroug­h-based Animated Objects Theatre Company presents a community lantern parade. Moonlight and Song features different community groups and schools .

The event will take place from 5.30pm on Friday December 1 in Peasholm Park, and is being staged with the support of Scarboroug­h Borough Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Asquith and Co Accountant­s and the Friends of Peasholm Park. 14 critically acclaimed CDs, and Nick, with his unique blend of Metheny-esque jazz and Turkish inspired world music, has recently toured the world with Jeff Beck’s band.

Since forming the duo has been getting four-star reviews.

For their live gigs they aim to entertain by playing with a spontaneit­y and intuitive interplay that keeps them fresh and fired up, coming to the performanc­e with what they hope is the audience’s anticipati­on: to expect the unexpected. Music begins at 8.45pm.
