Jewellery stolen from hotel
Police officers are appealing to anyone in the Scarborough area who has been offered a man’s silver curb bracelet for sale in suspicious circumstances since Sunday morning.
The bracelet is believed to have been stolen between 11am and 4.30pm on Sunday May 20 when an unknown offender gained entry to a hotel room while the occupants were out in town.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said that following investigations it was believed that the item could be sold on in the local area and urging anyone who is offered jewellery to report it straight away to the force control room.
They added: “We are appealing for anybody who may have been offered a silver mens curb bracelet for sale under suspicious circumstances after this time to contact us.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Liam Cromack.

Police have not released details on which hotel was targeted in the raid.
