Proudfoot donates £500 to cancer cause
Scarborough-based retailer Proudfoot has donated £500 to cancer charity CLIC Sargent towards the support services it provides for young cancer patients.
The family-run supermarket group donated the funds through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity, which raises funds from the sale of Heritage own label products and branded items featured on the Proudfoot promotional leaflet.
CLIC Sargent fundraiser Jenny Dixon said: “We were delighted to be chosen to receive a £500 donation from The Proudfoot Group and we would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff and customers for their fantastic support. The donation will be used to support CLIC Sargent in our fight for young lives against cancer.”
