Town’s oldest resident dies

A woman believed to be Scarborough’s oldest resident died the day after enjoying a party to celebrate her 104th birthday. Kathleen Mary Roper was a resident at Scarborough Hall care home in Mount View Avenue for the past four years. Her funeral was held at St George’s Catholic Church.
