Winners of The Scarborough News Business Awards will be announced on Friday November 30 at the 1960s themed black tie event.
The event at Scarborough Spa will welcome a variety of businesses to celebrate what the area has to offer.
Awards are open to businesses in Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Ryedale and Bridlington/EastYorkshire.
The event is run by The Scarborough News and its sister titles the Bridlington Free Press and Whitby Gazette, supported by our great Events Team.
It’s free to enter into one of our many categories with a hope of returning back to the office with a prestigious award.
Categories for the 2018 entries are Young Entrepreneur, Small Business, Mediand um Business, Large Business, Employer of the Year, Export Achievement, Women in Business, Bridlington and East Yorkshire Outstanding Business of the Year, Community Contribution, Business Person, Tourism, Apprentice and New Business.
To give you an insight into some of the entries we can reveal that for the Small Business category you will be going head-to-head with Tipple Underwood, Abbeygas Plumbing
Heating, and Bjorn Clogs, among others.
Entries for Women in Business include Forever to Hold Ltd, Chameleon Music Marketing, and Happy Days Nursery.
New Businesses competitors include Furbellow & Co, Escape Room Scarborough, Enquiry Source, while in the Large Business category entrants include Plaxton, Parkol Marine Engineering and Flamingo Land.
