Carol singing

-

The annual Christmas carol singing took place at Crossgates Community Centre on Sunday, December 16, which was very well-attended.

The Rev Andrew Moreland, from St Martin’s Church, Seamer, officiated and the singing was accompanied by the Simply Brass band.

Before the singing began, the vice chairman, Bob Jackman, gave a warm welcome to everyone, and hoped we would all enjoy the evening.

After the singing the chairman, Cllr Harry Smith, thanked everyone for their attendance and invited us to enjoy a buffet supper, which was sponsored by Seamer Parish Council and prepared by members of Seamer Methodist Church and St Martin’s Church, Seamer.

He also thanked the vice chairman for standing in for him recently, and also thanked the trustees for their work throughout the year and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Anyone interested in booking the centre should contact Beryl Lufkin on 01723 583462.
