Dear Reader

On behalf of Scarborough Borough Council, the Mayoress and I would like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.

As we strive to do our best for residents and visitors, it is vital that we all work together to ensure that our borough maintains the visual impact and high standards that we all expect and are proud of.

It is what helps makes the borough such a popular and welcoming place to live in and visit. We have a great area with so much potential and a vibrant community. Be proud of it.

In my role as Mayor, it has been very humbling to meet with so many amazing and diverse individuals and groups out there giving up their time to support our communities.
