Markham leads eight club runners back at Ferriby
The course consists of a testing first half, predominantly uphill, and this year was into a very cold headwind, then a return with a steep climb over the final half-mile.
First for the club was Phil Markham, who was 88th of 743 finishers in 66 minutes 36 seconds.
He was followed by Andy Southwick, who improved his time for 10 miles by six minutes and achieved a personal best time of 75.43.
Emma-Jane Birley, who was the only female club member, completed her first-ever 10-mile road race in 99.59.

Eight club members competed in the Dalby Forest Headtorch Race which was over a challenging five-mile multi terrain course in darkness.
First club finisher was Rhona Marshall (pictured), who was 11th overall of 420 and first female in 37 minutes 27 seconds. Chris Duck followed in 12th overall and first Over-45 in 37.49. Other female results in gender order: Sally Elwick 36th female and 3rd Over-45, Patricia Dunn 102nd, Nikki Edmond 246th. Other male results in gender order: Matt Burke 160th, Martin Elwick 184th. Ten club members took part in the Sewer by Park run.
First to finish for the club was Michael Dowson, who was third overall of 171.
Elsa Lees led the club’s ladies when finishing 18th female overall of 171 and was the first Age-10 girl.

Sixteen club members took part in the latest Dalby Forest Parkrun.
The first to finish for the club was Thomas Gavin, who was seventh overall of 223 and with a PB.
Rebecca Dent led the club’s ladies when finishing fourth female overall of 132.
