Storyline of The Tide

Writer Liam Thomas said: “Skipper is a genial modern-day Ahab who has fished the North Sea all his life and is blindsided when an onboard issue threatens his beloved trawler, The Annie. His reaction pulls into sharp focus the reality of life and friendship in a once proud trawler town.” Skipper is played by Game of Thrones actor Francis Magee.

Festive wreath making workshops are being held at Brompton Village Hall.

Participants can enjoy a two-course supper, glass of fizz and a demonstration by creative florists Jo Purdy and Rachel Sergent.

Afterwards you will have all the flowers, greenery and decorations you need to make your own wreath or table decoration.

Full tuition will be given. Some of the events are already sold out but there are spaces on the dates below:

Wreath Making Workshops: Sunday 1 December - 6.30pm; Thursday 5 December - 6.30pm; Thursday 12 December - 6.30pm.
