Rescue of woman dangling 15ft in air

Firefighters rescued a woman found in Scarborough hanging upside down – 15ft in the air – by her foot which was trapped in barbed wire fencing. The crews were called to Seamer Road at 12.52am on Sunday to help the woman in her early 20s. They freed her using a triple extension ladder and bolt croppers. An ambulace was called and she was taken to hospital and treated for superficial injuries.
