Jazz Court residents mark VE Day 75th anniversary

Residents at Jazz Court in Scarborough commemorated the 75th anniversary of VE day in style earlier this month. Scarborough resident Alan Hiscox wore a uniform as the retirement living community marked the occasion. A spokeswoman at Jazz Court said: “VE Day was very important for the residents of our retirement living residences.”

The venue, which is based at Eastfield, also created a VE Day wall complete with bunting, Union flags and black and white photographs.
