Head shave fundraiser for hospice

A Hunmanby business owner will shave her head this weekend to raise money for charity.

Jo-Ann McMillan, of The Hunmanby Pantry, has chosen to raise money for Saint Catherine’s.

She will shave her hair off live on Facebook on Saturday May 23.

Jo-Ann said: “No, it’s not because I’ve gone crazy during the current pandemic (although there have been moments).

“It’s because I want to do something big and bold (or should I say bald) that will raise vital funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice – the wonderful people who cared for my lovely dad in his final days.”

Jo-Ann has already raised more than £2,200 for the cause.
