The world of CBeebies’ hit animated series Sarah & Duck will come to life on stage.
Featuring a host of wonderful characters from the BAFTA award-winning TV show, Sarah & Duck’s Big Top Birthday will visit the Spa’s Grand Hall for two performances.
Join Sarah and Duck, along with all their favourite friends including the Ribbon Sisters, the Shallots, Flamingo and Umbrella, as they plan a circus-themed birthday party for Scarf Lady in their garden. But when the weather turns windy and the big top is blown away, will Sarah and Duck be able to save the day?

The Shop at the SJT will open its doors for the re-opening of the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
The Shop at the SJT, based in the main foyer of the theatre, will welcome gift-seekers and craft-lovers with a clutch of new makers who will be selling their handmade creations at this special location.
Lynne Arnison, chairperson of the Shop at the SJT, which is a cooperative, said: “We are so delighted to be opening again as the Stephen Joseph Theatre opens again with The Greatest Play In The History Of The World. “Shop at the SJT will be open for audience members and other visitors to have a Covid-19 Secure browse.”

Scar4borough Spa Orchestra Scarborough Spa, Monday July 12 to Thursday September 16
Subject to the Government’s restrictions being lifted in June, the last remaining professional seaside Orchestra’s summer season will run for 10 weeks, performing eight concerts per week.
Morning concerts will be held in the Suncourt from Sunday to Thursday with evening concerts taking place in The Grand Hall on Monday and Wednesday. The Teddy Bears’ Picnics concerts which introduce youngsters to the magic of music and musical instruments will be on on Sundays at 2pm.
Thunder’s founder members Danny Bowes and Luke Morley will hit the road for a 23 date tour, calling into the Spa Theatre. The tour coincides with the release of the band’s new book charting the group’s first 50 years. It will form the backdrop of each show, with acoustic renditions of Thunder classic songs in between the stories.
