Scarborough business The Insight Group has invested in a new flagship head office on the Eastfield Industrial Estate and moved the team to the new premises.

Due to the Covid restrictions, there are still around half of the office-based team members working from home but over the coming months they will be integrating back into the new office as lockdown rules allow.

Founder and CEO Aran Curry won Scarborough Business Person of the Year at the 2017 Scarborough Business Awards, and The Insight Group has continued to go from strength to strength.

The company’s new head office is at Newchase Court, off Hopper Hill Road. It also runs a sales office from

Alderley Edge in Cheshire and employs a number of offshore people who work remotely in various locations around the world.

Over the past six years the business has created more than 40 new jobs in the Scarborough area.

The company has now bought more than 1,300 properties for its property investor clients, providing a ‘Done For You’ service where it sources the client buy-to-let properties, negotiates on them, organises the solicitor and mortgage, buys the property, then refurbishes and manages them across the North of England.

The Property Education side of the business runs events with Mr Curry on stage over 80 days of the year, and the events have anything from 60 to 3,000 people registering for them.

Despite lockdown the business has gone from strength to strength with 20 different online property training products that are now available for clients of The Insight Group. The business was forced to innovate in the events area and has had significant success with more than one thousand people in regular attendance on their webinars.

The Lettings arm of the business is now the largest in Scarborough, says the company, with more than 900 properties under management.

There has been a significant investment in this side of the business with an improvement programme that has seen over £200,000 invested and a recruitment drive that has increased the local team by an additional 10 members of staff.
