The screen stars just love our area!

Tom Cruise has recently been in our area filming the latest instalment of the Mission: Impossible series.

The Hollywood A-Lister was first seen stepping out of a helicopter in Pickering at the start of last week.

The cast and crew of around 300 have been using the North Yorkshire Moors Railway stations at Pickering and Levisham.

Our journalists greeted the megastar when they caught up with him at Levisham, and he waved back and said how beautiful the area was.

He is also pictured, right, with costar Hayley Atwell filming a scene at Levisham station.
