Twenty-one youngsters net call up to Rockets set-up

Twenty-one local cricketers have landed themselves a place in the North Yorkshire Rockets sides for the coming season.

In the Under-Nines team, Henry Stabler, who plays his cricket at Mulgrave, has earned himself a place in the side.

Nawton Grange quartet Harry Robson, Charlie Rose, Bobby Wood-Rymer and

Alex Richardson have been selected to play in the Under10s side.

They’ll be playing alongside Scarboroug­h’s Harrison Zakrzewski and Westow’s Arthur Camacho and Will Upton, who have also secured places.

Will Farnsworth, who also plays for Westow, will feature in the Under-11s set up along with Folkton & Flixton pair Sam Hodgson and Evan Chapman playing in the Under-12s.

Sam Hill of Pickering CC, Scarboroug­h’s Ben Crick and Jack Everitt, who plays for Nawton Grange, will also play in the side.

In the Under-13s team, Westow’s Rollo Storey was picked for the team, alongside Heslerton’s Isaac Simmonds.

Harry Exton of Folkton & Flixton and Toby Jones from Cayton will turn out for the Under-15s side for the 2021 season.

Both Will MacDonald of Sewerby and Noah Kelly, who plays his club cricket for Driffield, are both playing for East and Central Yorkshire this season.

Olivia Kibler is in the side for the Yorkshire Under 13 girls.
