Social Carer of the Year, sponsored by St Cecilia’s Care Group
In this new category we are looking for nominations to be submitted by our readers. Carers, both paid and unpaid, have been on the frontline over the past year in the fight to keep vulnerable people in the community safe from Covid-19. We are looking for nominations from the public for a special individual who has best personified this amazing and heroic effort. The overall winner of the category will be selected by a final reader vote. Voting for the winner will be via an online portal and via text, once the shortlists for all other categories have been announced in October.
Outstanding Business of Lockdown, sponsored by M. Wasley Chapman & Co Accountants
We are looking for inspiring applications from businesses that have used creativity, expertise, and determination to navigate their survival in the face of adversity.
Leisure, Retail & Lifestyle Business of the Year
Open to any restaurant, hotel, café, pub, retail, leisure facility, visitor attraction or similar business. We are looking for an organisation in this sector that excels in their field, showing evidence of success between March 2020-April 2021, and how they have overcome the challenges of Covid-19.
