U14s edged out by high-flying Bridge

-

Scarborough Ladies Under14s ended their season with 2-1 and 6-1 defeats at Stamford Bridge and Howden. The clash at Bridge saw the high-flying hosts take the lead but a brilliant team move saw Milly Walker level only for Bridge to net again. Teo Baltatu was girl of the game for Boro.

On Saturday Howden raced into a 5-0 lead by half-time, but Boro improved hugely after the interval and pulled a goal back through girl of the game Ellie-Mae Bloomfield. Scarborough Ladies Under12s finished the season with a 1-1 draw against Fulford. Chloe Boyes put Boro 1-0 up but Fulford soon levelled. Special mention must go to the Boro defence who kept the league’s top scorer quiet. Girls of the game went to the squad who have been fantastic all season.
