MY mum wrote a book called which has been turned into a show by Chickenshed Theatre.
The Tigon and the Liger,
Last year, it was performed at Chickenshed’s theatre in London and this year it was performed in New York – and I got to go!
I got to spend a day with the cast of the show and I took part in a theatre workshop, which was so much fun. I particularly loved the song Come Out of Your Shell, which the main characters, Tyler and Lyla, sing with Speedi the turtle and Rylan the rhino. At the end of the final show, I got to go up on stage with my mum and we were given flowers. It was such an amazing experience.
One day, I hope to perform in a Chickenshed show!
