Family fun at emergency services day

Police and Fire and Rescue in Filey are gearing up to host the second Emergency Services Family Fun Day on Sunday August 21. The free event at Filey Sports Field starts at 11 am and will finish at 4pm.

Children and their families will be given a chance to get up close and personal with North Yorkshire Police vehicles and equipment and get behind the wheel of a fire engine.

Live displays are also being staged by HM Coastguard, Yorkshire Ambulance and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The famous yellow air ambulance is scheduled to drop in.
