A water rail ventures out

-

This week’s images are from Kirkbymoorside Camera Club members Lynn Wraith and Barrie Tuck.

Lynn Wraith’s image is of a water rail. She said: “On my last visit to Spurn Point, this juvenile decided to venture from the undergrowth at a nearby pond.”

Children’s Canal was captured by Barrie Tuck. Taken at Kinderdyke (Children's Canal) in Holland, there are 29 working windmills pumping water out of the fields to drain the land for agricultural use. These five in a row date back over 200 years.
