FIVE THINGS FOR YOUR WEEK...
STREAMING See, Apple TV+, streaming now
The sci-fi drama series is back for its third and final series. For the uninitiated, the tale takes place hundreds of years after the entire human race has lost its sight. The future is a brutal and primitive place to be and now, a year since Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) defeated his arch enemy
Edo, who also happened to be his brother, our hero is living remotely in a forest. But not for long, it seems. A Trivantian scientist has developed a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry, which poses another threat to the safety of humankind. As a result, Baba returns to Paya so that he can act as his tribe’s protector once more. Once again the series is utilising cast and crew who are blind or have low vision, something which has resulted in the production being acclaimed for its representation of the visually impaired.

Edmonds actually started his career on Radio Luxembourg before moving into UK TV and radio. Noel’s House Party – set in the aforementioned fictional village – was a high watermark, but his star began to fade in the late 1990s.

It involves the murder of a man carried out by invisible assailants. The subsequent investigation brings Rachel into the world of a rising political figure, and it soon becomes clear the nation’s security could be at risk.
