SCALBY WIVES – Scalby Wives meetings will take place at St Laurence’s Church Rooms in Scalby, to be held every two weeks, starting on Monday, September 12, 7.30pm.

There will be a diverse and interesting range of speakers. New members welcome. ILLUSTRATED LECTURE – An illustrated lecture will be given by international prizewinning photojournalist Peter Caton on Sunday, August 28, 3pm, at St Mark’s Church, Newby.

WI MEETING – Scalby and Newby WI group’s next

meeting is on Monday, September 26, 7pm, when the speaker will talk on Whitby jet.
