View of a willow plantation
This week’s images are from Kirkbymoorside Camera Club members Harry Kingman and Mike Chapman.
Mike Chapman’s image, entitled Willow Avenue, is a view of a willow plantation near Ryton. The plantation was developed as a biofuel source for power generation.
Warkworth Castle is by Harry Kingman.
He said: “The castle dominates the land route to the town of Warkworth, which is strategically positioned with the River Coquet almost surrounding it.
"The castle was the former home of the Percys but was reduced to its current position during the Civil War.”
