Wendy earns first place in Summer Handicap finale

Forty-nine Scarboroug­h Athletic Club members competed in the fifth and final round of the club’s Summer Handicap Series.

The first finish er on handicap was Wendy Pattison, who was followed by Andy Doody and Nichola Doody.

The fastest female was Rhona Marshall. Sue Haslam and Ni cola Doo dy were second and third fastest. The fastest male was Paul Lawton. Robbie Preston and Ryan Sheader were second and third fastest.

Twelve club members took part in the North Yorkshire WaterPark Parkrun.

Da ni elKoek em ore made an excellent event and club de but after finishing first overall of 123 and a Parkrun PB. Sarah Noble led the club’s females in second overall of 50.

Other male results: J, Merron 7th overall, D. Smart 4th Over-50, N. Millican 5th O55 with a PB, T. Carrington 35th overall, D.Fox 1st O70 with a PB, R. Hyde 11th O50 with a PB, R. Taylor 8 th O 55, R. Gough 2 nd O 70.

Other female results: C. Bilton 8th O45, L.Koekemore 44th overall.

Six club members competed at Sewer by Park run.

Dave Shipley was first for the club in 40th overall and third O65.

P au line Elliott led the club’ s females after finishing 38th overall of 83 females and fourth O40.

Other female results: P. Keenan 2nd O70, L. Bayes 3rd O70.

Harry Whitehouse took part in the Whitby Cinder Track Parkrun.

He finished 34th of 72 and first O70.

Two club members took part in the Dalby Forest Parkrun.

Hester Butterwort­h was seventh female overall of 51 and first O50.

Mike Padgham was 69th overall of 103 and the fifth O65.

Alison Hornsby took part in the New Farm Parkrun at Brisbane, Australia.

She finished 24th female overall of 47.

Kevin Hutching stookp art in the Odiham Parkrun.

He finished 73rd overall of 174 and was 5th O55

Sarah Marshall took part in the Huddersfie­ld Parkrun, finishing 95th of 222 females and 15th O55.

Giu li a Wilkins took part in the latest Endcliffe Parkrun at Sheffield, finishing 67th of 211 females and sixth O40.
