CHURCH NEWS – Brompton’s Open Gardens was very successful with more people attending than ever before. The gardens raised over £700 for All Saints’ Church and the teas raised over £400 for Brompton Village Hall. Many members of our small community helped and visitors commented on the friendly atmosphere.

The next church event will be our harvest festival. It will take place as part of the service on Sunday, October 2, 11am, which will be led by the Rev Joe Kinsella.

All Saints’ Church is open daily and those who wish to go in to pause and reflect on the loss of our Queen are welcome. They may wish to record their feelings in our visitor book.

Special services of remembrance and thanksgiving will take place before the state funeral of the Queen within our group of churches. The board outside church will give information once confirmed.
