A busy honey bee on lavender
This week’s images are from Scarborough Camera Club members Ann-Marie Gibson and John Turner.
The image entitled Water on a Peacock Feather, by AnnMarie Gibson, shows the wonderful colours of the feather, and the water droplets add extra interest.
John Turner’s image is Honey Bee on Lavender. He said: “Lavender has been one plant which has been able to cope with the hot dry conditions this summer due to its Mediterranean origins.
“It may become more widespread in gardens as global warming continues.”
The club will meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm from October 5 at the Friends’ Meeting House. For further information visit www.scarboroughcameraclub.co.uk
