Bayes shines as Scarborough Ladies U14s sink Wetherby
Scarborough Ladies Under14s claimed a 3-0 win at home to Wetherby.
After a goalless first half, Boro raised their game and were rewarded when Brooke Southren finished at the far post from a Lola Bayes cross.
Bayes then added a second when latching onto a superb through-ball from Jemima Chapman and struck an unstoppable shot. Boro netted their third when de but an tH ollie Robinson converted from close range.
Scarborough Ladies Under-16s saw off visitors Bishopthorpe 6-2.
The away team took a deserved early lead but Boro rallied and a double from striker Lucy Fairbank have them a 2-1 lead into half-time.
Borocameou to ft heb locks and quickly extended their lead with a superb finish from midfielder Lil Scott, girl of the game Fair bank then completed her hat-trick, Scott netting her second before Bishopthorpe netted again. Kelsey McGough scored Scarborough’s sixth.
Scarborough Ladies Under-13s lost 2-0 at Wigginton.
The Reds went 1-0 down within a minute, but fought their way back into the game. Both teams played well after the interval, but the hosts netted to seal the 2-0 win.

Harmarni Winn Atkins for her solid midfield performance while Rachel Hodgson played extremely well.
Scarborough Ladies Under-12s Whites romped to a 101 win at Northallerton.
The Whites dominated and it wasn’t long before Lacey O’Hara grabbed her first of three with some excellent link up play with Chloe McArthur.
The latter grabbed her first with a whipped in corner. Shortly after Anna Donbavand notched, O’Hara then added her second and Do nb av and grabbed her second to put the visitors 5-0 up at half-time.
After the break, Eva Hague grabbed her first goal for the Whites, and although Northallerton scored it wasn’t long before a McArthur corner was deflected in to make it 7-1. McArthur then scored a welldeserved goal from open play to cap a fine performance.
The hard-working Sophie Overfield then also netted and girl of the match O’Hara completed her hat-trick with a screamer from the edge of the area.
Scarborough Ladies Under-15s lost 7-0 at a strong Brayton Belles.
Striker Ellie-Mae Bloomfield was named girl of the game for her hard work, but the wholeBoro team deserve credit for battling hard throughout.
