Monochromatic storm waves
This week’s images are from Scarborough Camera Club members Derry Brett and Richard Wells.
The image, Decaying Sycamore, is by Derry Brett.
She said: “At this time of the year we are aware of the lovely colours in the trees as the leaves change.
“This close-up image shows the detail visible in an individual leaf.”
Richard Wells’ image is entitled Sea Power.
The storm waves are dramatic, and Richard has used a technique called colour popping to make the lifebelt stand out while the rest of the image is monochrome.
