Motorail Memory

-

In the 60s and 70s my wife and I used to travel to Scotland by Motorail on an overnight service to Perth. We used this service for our honeymoon in 1975 and for the two passengers and one car it cost £48.40, including car and personal travel insurance. Unfortunately, the service ceased in 1995 when British Rail was privatised but with the number of cars on the road nowadays, who knows, it might come back. It’ll cost a lot more than £48.40 though!
