Military Schooling

I’d like to follow-up an excellent Kenny Macaskill article in the March issue about Thomas Cochrane. I am friendly with a fellow Scot here in Sydney who is married to a lady from Chile. I said to her that I have a book, Cochrane the Dauntless by David Cordingly, about Admiral Cochrane and there’s a lot about his contribution to Chile’s liberation. “Yes,” she said. “I know all about him as we learned of his exploits at school!”
