Grateful Thanks
Recently, while travelling south from Skye in atrocious driving conditions, my car skidded and hit a tree. Other drivers stopped and gave me help until I was taken to the Borders General Hospital where I was treated like a king. However, when I was discharged I was faced with a problem – how do I catch the ferry to France from Hull without a car? A paramedic called Ruth whose shift had ended said she would take me to the nearest station. I’d like to thank all of the folk who helped me that night, not just Ruth. They were absolutely wonderful!
