Professor Sue Black

The Scots Magazine - - Wild About Scotland -

Sept 22, 12pm

As a Professor of Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology, Sue Black confronts death daily. Her fascinating memoir All That Remains, A Life in Death, looks back at a career spent examining mortal remains in her lab, at burial sites, at scenes of violence, murder and criminal dismemberment, and investigating mass fatalities caused by war and natural disasters. A world class speaker, celebrated writer and scientist, she will be at the festival to discuss her book and life. (Turn to page 18 for an interview with Professor Black)
