Outlander fans will know Dean Castle as a filming location for the TV series. Here, the 14th-century castle provides a spectacular backdrop for the second year of this light and sound event in Kilmarnock’s country park. Guest designers have been invited to take the experience to a new level. The castle is currently closed for renovation, but the event’s 1.5km (1-mile) route takes in highlights of its exterior and the beautiful park.
