Remembering Applecross
In the 1970s, friends of mine living in Tayport gave my husband and me a subscription to your magazine as a Christmas present. I still take it today. I found a copy of my October 1971 issue recently and loved reading it again. Tom Weir’s article said that his next My Month article would include Applecross – an area that I have visited and stayed in very happily several times. Regrettably, I haven’t kept the November 1971 article. It is hard to say a person’s favourite place in Scotland, but Applecross is certainly one of mine and to read Tom Weir’s appreciation of it would be wonderful.
