Sophie Mcvinnie enjoys an elegant brunch at a new eatery

FOOD: We chose two beautifully presented sandwiches from the brunch menu as our main course. The Marvellous Melt and Ultimate Club were brimming with flavour, each with a hint of spice and finished off with floral decoration. My sandwich had succulent grilled chicken with red peppers, onions and cheese, all encased in toasted bread. The other had crushed avocado and caramelised red onion. We washed them down with a Strawberry Delight mocktail, and had cheesecakes for dessert which were soft, creamy and ultimately delicious! 9/10

SERVICE: All the staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of facts about the restaurant and the surrounding area. We felt very welcomed and looked after – a wonderful atmosphere. 9/10

AMBIENCE: The interior was stylish with marbled walls, velvet seats and lovely table decorations. The staff wore crisp uniforms and carried pretty pink menus to customers, who seemed relaxed and comfortable. There was an air of elegance throughout the restaurant, easily matching the expectation it sets on its website. 9/10

VALUE FOR MONEY: You get a scrumptious meal for the price but sandwiches are £9.80 each, which is a little steep. The drink cost a reasonable £6.40 given its presentation, but the small cheesecakes cost £9.20 each. 6/10

FACILITIES: Facilities were immaculate, clearly marked and accessible. It also takes just five minutes to walk to Haute Dolci from Perth train station – a real plus! 10/10
